Built the customer facing websites, internal customer service web applications and tools and services to support business operations. The public sites get 6 million visitors per month. The website was developed in a data driven manner with a big chunk of the functionality derived from the data. Technologies used were .Net, C#, ASP.Net 2.0, MS SQL Server 2005, MSBuild, IIS 6.0, SubVersion(SVN).

For client RxVantage LLC, Rhode Island (www.rxvantage.com) from January 2008 to April 2009. This was a startup product that solves a real problem of connecting pharma reps to doctors. Setup infrastructure and managed hand over of code from existing vendor. Defining product requirements and design. Worked on database performance tuning issues and also managed the production servers and deployment of application updates to these servers. Technologies used were .Net, C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, XHTML/Javascript/CSS, MS SQL Server 2005, T-SQL/Cursor reports, IIS 6.0, MSBuild, SubVersion(SVN).

In addition to application programming I also wrote T-SQL/Cursor based reports for several products.

For client Proto Software, NYC (http://www.protosw.com) developed Proto - the next generation visual programming platform. Ideal for developing mashups, LOB apps and data analysis and reporting applications. This is an IDE that allows you to build applications using a visual boxes and lines model rather than writing code.
Lead the team and designed the product from scratch through several releases over a period of 3 years. Best team of the year 2005 and runner up in 2006.Technologies used were Win32, .Net, WinForms, WPF, C#, ADO.Net, Access, Web services, COM, Interop, MSBuild, SubVersion (SVN).

Worked on Internal product CoreTalk (http://www.coretalk.info). This is a blogging and group calendar based social networking platform that was acquired by CoreObjects in 2007. In addition to development I was also responsible for driving product design and managing the production servers and also the deployment of updates to these servers. Worked on FaceBar, This was an early stage startup product that was to be a browser toolbar that in its first version would allow P2P music streaming and sharing with friends. Technologies used were Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, MySql, .Net 2.0, C#, REST based web services, COM, XPCOM, Firefox and IE toolbars, C++, JavaScript, jQuery, NSIS, SubVersion(SVN).

Worked on EncryptaNet, This was an early stage startup product which was basically a Winsock network filter (LSP) that enabled integration of payment with paid content. For e.g. you could pay to access documents, media, games etc. and the filter validates that you have paid and allows access to the content. Setup a WTL based UI to interact with the LSP layer and to integrate with PayPal via web scraping. Technologies used were ATL, WTL, C++, COM, SubVersion(SVN).

For client Avery Dennison - Format Manager which is a desktop application to design and manage the printing of labels from their vendors. Designed the initial framework on which the application was built. Technologies used were.Net, Winforms, GDI, GDI+, SubVersion(SVN).
